Head of Business Development (Interconnect and Electro-Mechanical Components)

Working location: Taipei

Responsibilities:

Formulate plans to identify and pursue new profitable business opportunities
Perform market analysis to determine key opportunities, challenges, and gaps in Asia Pacific and provide supports to the whole HEILIND group
Lead a Business Development team across Asia Pacific region to ensure targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with the company’s overall strategy
Propose and develop long-term strategic plan and partnerships
Research and track emerging markets and trends
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key clients, proposing innovative solutions to achieve value-added operations and businesses of customers
Work with internal teams to value proposition in developing business development initiatives that result in sustainable and profitable growth
Shape segment product and capabilities portfolio to align with market trends and customer needs

Requirements:

Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development, preferably with subordinate management experience
Knowledgeable in interconnect and electro-mechanical components (including wires, cables, relays, thermal, sensor) and rich experience in such product portfolio
An excellent collaborator who influences and creates executive interest for a company’s solutions and offerings to drive local and regional growth
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin & English
