Heilind Asia Participated in China (Chengdu) Electronics Fair

Only a small number of component distributors in the global electronics industry focus on a certain family of devices. Professional distributors who only focus on interconnector components are even more rare. Heilind, the largest interconnect distributor in North America is one of them. Last year, Heilind expanded its geographic presence to Asia for the first time, setting up its Asia-Pacific headquarter in Hong Kong, China and establishing offices in Singapore and other major cities in mainland China in quick succession.

Recently, Heilind Asia, together with five of its international leading suppliers took part in the China (Chengdu) Electronics Fair (CEF), showing to the industries in mainland China what high quality products and professional services it can provide. And also let more visitors know the unique business model Heilind focuses on and the commitment to the belief of "Distribution As It Should Be".

Heilind Asia held this tradeshow together with TE, Molex, EDAC, Alpha Wire and Emerson Connectivity Solutions. Many other suppliers also came to this booth to provide support. Besides the latest products and solutions from these suppliers, Heilind Asia also exhibited professional services such as value added services, supply chain management and the newly released Asia website.

Visitors could get an invitation through Heilind EDM’s preregistration program. By bringing the invitation and their name cards to Heilind booth they will get a variety of gifts, such as mini speakers, thumbdrives, coffee mugs etc. Heilind Asia also used dance performance, quiz with gifts, and lucky draw onsite to attract huge crowds of visitors to its Heilind booth. Many medias such as China Electronic Market, CNT Network also came to Heilind booth to conduct interviews.

Vice President of EDAC Inc. Bob Sakitkovski and President of Heilind Asia Pacific William Sim, picked from the hundreds of visitors’ name cards 2 lucky individuals who each won an iPad mini. Visitors who participated in quiz also won many prizes.

CEF Chengdu is the second tradeshow Heilind Asia participated in this year. Although this tradeshow is smaller in scale and with lesser visitors than Electronica Shanghai, Heilind Asia got more sales leads. From the EDMs, various onsite promotions and showcases of suppliers’ products, Heilind Asia totally got 400+ leads. Last but not least, Heilind Asia attracted more Media attention this time—more than 30 China electronic websites published Heilind News, and 3 magazines published interviews with Heilind.
