New 3M™ CFII Family Product Releases

3M announces 2 new CFII (compact flash) family product releases. They have extended the product family offering by adding low profile and inverse mounting options to their already popular Compact Flash Headers. Some benefits:

• Headers meet CFA specifications
• Single row surface mount solder tails
• Headers mate with Type I and Type II CompactFlash Cards, plus alternative storage devices such as micro drives
• Optional 2mm PC board standoff allows population of board space under mated header
• Guide rail grounding clip insures electrical contact to PC board ground pads
• Latching ejector option for CF card retention, assisted withdraw
• Optional ejectors for mechanically assisted withdraw of CF cards
• Telcordia approved plating option available for telecommunications applications
