FCI SD-card Connectors Meet Automotive Application Requirements

ETTERS, PA. (April 17, 2008) � FCI, a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect systems, introduced a SD memory connector ideal for use in connecting removable storage devices into automotive multimedia systems. The newly introduced connector range fully comply with typical automotive application requirements in terms of temperature range and number of mating cycles.

FCI developed and now introduces a range of automotive graded SD-cards connector for this particular application in the automotive segment.

The SD-card connectors meet the required specification for automotive electronics applications, operating in a temperature range of -40�C to +105�C with 12,000 mating cycles.
