Cable-less LED Power Supply ES3 Card Edge Type

Recently, along with increasing concern about ecological factors like CO2 reduction and environmental conservation, the market is shifting to mercury-free and low power consuming LED lighting. To facilitate this trend, JAE has developed the "ES3 Card Edge Type" one-piece connector for cable-less direct connection with the converter(*Note) board for various LED lighting devices. Unlike the conventional connection method of soldering cables to the board, a one-touch and cable-less connection is now possible for supplying power to LED-mounted boards. In addition, this product can be SMT mounted at the same time as other parts, such as LEDs, and will contribute to reducing the number of parts and the processing cost for customers.

The ES3 Series is a card edge connector for power supply of LED lighting devices that enables direct connection of the converter board and the LED mounting board. It's a 2-position card edge type connector ideal for LED bulb and LED lighting devices. The ES3 series connectors are available in embossed tape, compatible with SMT mounting. The connector allows reflow solder mounting to the LED mounting board to occur at the same time other parts like LED and SMT components are mounted.
