World's Smallest FPC Connector from Molex Offers Secure Contact Retention
Molex's new SMT ZIF 0.25mm (.010") pitch FPC connector, the smallest on the market today, saves up to 40 percent of space in mobile devices. Available from 21 to 39 circuits, the SMT ZIF terminal design prevents cable and connector contact during insertion, protects against wear on the FPC contact pads and ensures secure electrical contact even if the cable is pulled after actuation.
The front flip Easy-OnT actuator offers easy cable access. Moreover, its front solder tabs under the housing provide space savings, stability, and strain relief for SMT solder joints.

Molex's new capacitive switch and proximity sensing solutions use CapSenseT technology based on Cypress Semiconductor Corp.'s PSoCR chip architecture. Available for the next generation of user interfaces. Molex's capacitive sensing technology is ideal for appliances, medical equipment, fitness equipment, vending machines, home automation and security, point-of-sale terminals and industrial applications.
A single CapSense capacitive assembly replaces dozens of switches and controls with a touch-sensitive interface, supporting touch screens and proximity sensing for superior product differentiation. More reliable than its mechanical counterparts, it resists environmental wear-and-tear from temperature change and moisture.
Molex Designs Sealed, High-Density, Wire-To-Board, CMC Hybrid Connectors for Heavy-Duty Transportation Applications
Available in standard and power versions, Molex's CMC (Connectors Modular for Controllers) wire-to-board, hybrid connectors are a cost-effective solution for power train and body electronics applications on several modes of transportation vehicles.
Color-coded to match mechanical keying for easy visual installation, CMC use a high-performing matte seal with multiple sealing lips for security and reliability. Additional features include terminal position assurance and an integrated locking lever providing a safe and low mating force. Various backplate configurations and plug seals provide ultimate flexibility and reliability when terminal cavities are not used.
