The usage of USB, Firewire and HDMI is no longer reserved for home entertainment. As well in recording studios and on stage these interfaces can be found more and more often. But the environment at these places is rougher and more demanding than it is at home. Having in mind the experience made with the etherCON RJ45 solution Neutrik developed a supremely rugged multimedia series – as usual in Neutrik top quality, water resistant and extremely robust.

USB and Firewire connections are ideal for audio networking and the integration of computer-based equipment into audio systems. The Neutrik USB 2.0 (A-B reversible) and Firewire feedtrough chassis connectors can be integrated into audio networks without any problems as they offer the same universally accepted D-size housing as Neutrik’s XLR receptacles.

By combining the USB cable and chassis connectors the connection becomes lockable and water resistant. The intuitive use of the push-pull locking device offers highest handling comfort. In addition the cable connector offers a shielded connection with high noise immunity and EMI protection.

Neutrik completes the multimedia series with an HDMI solution for the transmission of any digital TV and PC video format including high-definition video (HDTV). Neutrik’s HDMI chassis connector in the standard D-size housing can be integrated in networks as easy as the USB and Firewire receptacles. The HDMI cable connector offers a push-pull locking. In mated condition it is protected against dust and water ingress according to protection class IP65.
