Switchcraft Introduces the News High Temperature Power Jacks and Plugs

Switchcraft announced the new high temperature power jacks and plugs. These new versions utilize a special high RTI thermoplastic capable of withstanding temperatures of 105°C, much higher than our standard power jacks.

They are ideal for applications with a high ambient temperature and are better able to withstand the high temperatures introduced by soldering. They are also fully mateable with our standard jacks and plugs.

One other difference is the higher temperature rating provides higher current ratings compared with our existing/standard products.
