TE Connectivity Corcom's New Non-Filtered Power Entry Module Rated at 15 Amps

TE Connectivity has increased the current carrying capacity of its Corcom C Series power entry modules by adding a new non-filtered module rated at 15 Amps. The module combines an IEC 60320-1 C14 power inlet with a Double-Pole, Single-Throw (DPST) on/off rocker switch in a compact package that allows for smaller panel cutouts. The product specifically supports applications that require a high current capacity in compact modules.

Available in two mounting styles -- snap-in or flange -- the non-filtered modules are ideal for the computer, consumer electronics, appliance, instrumentation and medical equipment markets. The 15-Amp module was tested by Underwriters Laboratories to US and Canadian requirements and received VDE approval at 10 Amps and 250 VAC.

The Corcom C Series power entry modules offer a wide range of options including non-filtered, general-purpose filtering and medical-application filtering.
