TE Connectivity is introducing a new lighter weight, higher print accuracy printer to replace its T612M series printers. The new double-sided T6112DS printer for marker sleeve printing features two stacked print head assemblies for simultaneous printing of front and back. The device exhibits high levels of print quality and image clarity on all recommended TE Connectivity marker sleeves, including TTMS continuous marker sleeves. Superior print position accuracy makes the printer ideal for small sized marker sleeves.

Benefiting from a smaller footprint than existing double-sided printers from TE Connectivity, the T6112DS device features a simple ribbon and media loading procedure. The new automatic calibration reduces sleeve waste by nearly 50 percent during initial calibration when compared to the old T612M printer.

Technical details include print speeds of 30, 40, 50, 75, 100 and 125mm/s (recommended speed is 50mm/s), and a maximum print width of 105.6mm. The printing method is 300dpi thermal transfer. Optional perforator and cutter units are available (useful when printing TTMS continuous marker sleeves).
