TE Connectivity Introduces the Hermaphroditic
Connectors with Select Gold Plating

TE Connectivity (TE) introduces the hermaphroditic blade and receptacle connector with selective gold plating. The gold plated connectors are suitable for harsh environments where moisture and high vibration may be present. This wire-to-board connector mates to the new part number series of the surface mount hermaphroditic blade and receptacle board-to board connectors. In a typical application, the connector provides power to the first and adjacent LED printed circuit board in a string of rigid printed circuit board light strips.
