TE Introduces Remote Input / Output Terminal System (RITS)

TE Connectivity's (TE) RITS contact design is based on insulation displacement which means that wire preparation, such as stripping, is no longer required. TE's RITS connector has color-coded covers for indicating the applicable wire range and semitransparent housings for proper wire positioning prior to the wire termination and simple quality inspection. The integrated locking lever with audible click will improve the installation and mating process and reflects TE's strong focus on customer needs. TE's RITS connectors are available in a high density 2.0mm configuration and various housings options such as plug, SMT-PCB mountable, panel mount, junction box and socket connectors.
