TE's PolyZen YC/YM Devices

Discover new opportunities with TE Connectivity's (TE) PolyZen YC/YM devices, offering coordinated circuit protection from damage caused by ESD (electrostatic discharge) or other electrical over-stress events. Due to technology limitations, over-stress events are usually defended by multiple discrete devices. TE's PolyZen YC/YM devices combine both precision Zener diode and a resettable PolySwitch PPTC (polymer positive temperature coefficient) into one component package. Therefore, TE's device helps enable simultaneous protection against damage from overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse-bias, ESD, and over temperature events more effectively than solutions using multiple discrete devices.
