Edge Clip and UV Stabilized Cable Tie Assemblies

HellermannTyton’s high-performance edge clip and UV stabilized cable tie assemblies are designed specifically to route cables by securing them to a metal or plastic frame rail edge, eliminating the need for mounting holes and mechanical fasteners. The clip is easy to secure and the extraction force is high due to the integrated metal clamp that holds the edge clip in place. The cable tie firmly grips the cable, preventing chafing of the cable and ensuring long-term reliability.

Cable Tie with Fir Tree Mount

This fir tree mount cable tie provides a low insertion force with a high extraction force. This tie has outside serrations that present a smooth surface to the cable, preventing damage to the insulation. The unique head design of this tie allows for a firm hold on bundles as small as .06” in diameter; the disc offers added water protection. Manufactured of impact-modified Polyamide 6.6 material, offering increased flexibility along with heat resistance and UV stabilization.

Pre-printed Installation Labels

HellermannTyton offers a complete line of pre-printed, regulatory solar identification labels for use on small or large scale photovoltaic installations. Designed to meet the current National Electrical Code (NEC) and International Fire Code (IFC) requirements for durability, color, text height and visibility, HellermannTyton’s solar installation labels are manufactured based on the parameters outlined in Section 690 of the NEC, for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems, using ultraviolet (UV) resistant ink, permanent acrylic adhesive, and a base material intended to endure harsh environmental elements. An optional hand-applied acrylic laminate is available to provide additional long-term protection to variable printed text. The adhesives are expressly intended to offer performance on both enamel baked paints and powder coats found on most breaker boxes and panels.

The PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER SOURCE MARKERS are a pre-printed, non-adhesive, coiled marker that can be opened and snapped over the cable for long term, reflective, permanent identification per NEC 2011, Article 690.31(E)(3) and IFC 2012, Article 605.11.1.4. Designed with UV stable vinyl, the coiled markers come 25 per bag and will fit all standard PV cables or EMT conduit. Printed characters are the required 3/8” tall.

Continuous Vinyl Labels

HellermannTyton’s continuous vinyl labels come in a variety of colors and printing widths. Designed to optimize unique and custom printing designs on demand, vinyl labels allow the maximum flexibility for printing unique sizes of labels. The vinyl is UV resistant up to five years in outdoor applications and can be used to print warning labels, voltage markers, switch identifiers, and even pipe markers using TagPrint™ Pro labeling software and any HellermannTyton thermal transfer printing system.
